Delayed Message: Potential security issue for sender

The email message has not yet been delivered because the sender's email provider email system suspects it was sent by an imposter as it cannot verify from where this message is being submitted.

Fixes

Sign in to the sender's email provider's web site. This should reassure them that, despite being connected to the Internet from somewhere different, it is really the sender and not an imposter sending email.

if this error persists, contact the email provider for help.

A persistent transient failure is one in which the message as sent is valid, but persistence of some temporary condition has caused abandonment or delay of attempts to send the message. If this code accompanies a delivery failure report, sending in the future may be successful.

[RFC5248] (Best current practice) from the The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) definition for codes that end with X.7.14:

The submission server requires a configured trust relationship with a third-party server in order to access the message content. This value replaces the prior use of X.7.8 for this error condition. thereby updating [RFC4468].
